The Portage County Democratic Party will hold their fourth meeting of 2022 of the Democratic Central Committee at Independence in Ravenna.

Information about upcoming opportunities and action events will be provided.

Portage Cares is hosting a Bookbag & School Supply Donation Drive.

Donations being sought are bookbags and supplies for elementary school aged children.
The donations will be collected and given to Family & Community Services on August 6th, to then distribute to Portage County children in need.

Donations will be accepted on an ongoing basis (until Saturday, August 6th event). Donations can be made before August 6th by dropping them off at Portage County Democratic Party Headquarters during open hours.

The headquarters is currently open on Monday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Absentee ballots returned by U.S. Mail for the August 2, 2022 Primary must be postmarked no later than August 1 and received by boards of elections by this date to be counted if received by this date.

DEADLINE to Request an Absentee Ballot is 12pm (noon) on Saturday, July 30.

Applications for absentee ballots to be mailed for August 2 primary election must be received by boards of elections by noon (three days before primary election)
